(Only for Sat) The first meeting of Parish Pastoral Council will be held this evening after the Mass on the ground floor of the school building. All the members are requested to attend.
Sunday Catechists will have a meeting tomorrow / today after the 8.00 a.m. Mass.
Mass intentions for the period July to December 2019 will be accepted in the Parish Office from Monday, 10th June 2019. In order to give equal opportunity to all the parishioners, initially only 3 intentions per family will be accepted. Evening Mass, except Tuesdays, can be booked only one month in advance. Preference will be given for First Death Anniversary and Month’s Mind and if available for others.
Altar Servers will have meeting on every Thursday at 9.00 a.m. Parents are requested to encourage their children to join the ministry.
Meeting of Lectors will be held on Tuesday 11th June after the evening Mass in the Church. The existing Lectors as well as those who would like to join the ministry are welcome.
Sunday school will begin from Sunday, 16th June with Mass at 8.00 a.m. followed by Catechism class. Kindly send your children regularly.
Parents of the First Holy Communicants will have a meeting on Sunday, 23rd June after the 8.00 a.m. Mass.
The Family Cell will have the first meeting of the year on Saturday, 15th June after the evening Mass. All those who would like to be part of the Family Cell are welcome for this meeting.
Welcome Ministry meeting will be held on Sunday, 16th June at 11.30 a.m. All the old members and those who would like to join the ministry are welcome.
The Family Cell of St. John Bosco Church, Borivli (West) is organising a program for all eligible singles of marriageable age called “LILAC” on Sunday, 7th July from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. For details and registration please see the Notice Board.
Sophia College invites Catholic girl students to apply for admission to the Degree and Junior College. There is a 50% reservation for Catholics for these courses.
A program for Catholic Youth of age group 17-25 years titled “CLAYM” (Certificate for Leadership Acumen in Youth Ministry) will be conducted by Diocesan Youth Centre. For details please see the Notice Board.
PrePearl Training Development is conducting a program for young adults on The Leadership Treasure Discovery on Sunday,14th July. For details please see the Notice Board.
Portfolios for the year 2019-2020 have been put up on Notice Board. Community Coordinators and Heads of Cells and Associations are requested to get in touch with the concerned Spiritual Directors and plan the monthly meetings accordingly.
Confirmation classes will begin from Sunday, 23rd June at 4.30 p.m. Registration forms can be collected from the Parish Office. Filled forms to be submitted on 23rd June during the class.
All those who have registered their vehicles can collect the Stickers from the room next to the Parish Office. Members of the Welcome Ministry will be there to assist you. Both the gates will be open. The main gate will be for entry and the gate near the Parish Office for exit.
