28th Sunday of the Year Sunday Notices 13th October 2019 The parish clergy team wishes each one of you present a very Happy Feast. May our patroness, Our Lady of the Rosary bless you and your family with peace, good health and joy.
Feast day Masses will be like Sunday, except that there is no Mass in English in the evening at 6.30 p.m. Instead, there will be Mass in Tamil at 6.00 p.m. followed by procession. Before the 10.30 a.m. Mass rosary will be recited.
Palanquin bearers are requested to dress decently and not to wear T-Shirts.
During the procession, we request parishioners to walk in an orderly manner praying the rosary or singing hymns.
Welcome Ministry members have been posted at strategic locations. Kindly follow the instructions. Palanquins will halt only at pre-planned locations. Variety of Stalls have been put up in the Church compound. Kindly patronize.
Members of SVP will be making box collection in the Church compound after all the Masses on the feast day.
On Monday, 14th October there will Mass in Tamil at 6.00 p.m. Thereafter flag will be lowered. Mass in English will be as usual at 7.00 p.m. We regret to inform you that parking facilities will not be available in the Church compound on 12th & 13th October.
Mission Sunday will be celebrated on Sunday, 20th October. The Archdiocese allows us to make two collections on Mission Sunday. However, we will have only one collection and 50% of the amount received will be sent to the Missions as your contribution. We therefore request you to be generous.
In view of Golden Jubilee community celebration on 25th, 26th & 27th October, evening Mass on these days will be at 6.00 p.m. instead of 7.00 p.m. Kindly make note of the changed schedule. Fifty copies of new Hymn books have been placed in the Church. We request parishioners to handle them with care and not to take them out from the Church. Rev. Dr. Francis Carvalho Parish Priest
