1 *Today we celebrate Prison Ministry Sunday. We pray for all those who are involved in this Ministry & for all those who are in prison.*
2. *As our Parish Priest, Fr. Colman is on leave, Fr. Anto Denish will be the Acting Parish Priest in his absence.*
3. *Thursday, 15th of August, we celebrate the Solemnity of The Assumption of our Blessed Virgin Mary to Heaven. It is a Day of Obligation. Masses will be as on Sundays. There will be Mass in Marathi at 12.15 PM on 15th August. Please note there will be no evening Mass.*
On this day our country also celebrates its Independence Day.
4. Sunday, the 18th of August will be celebrated as Justice Sunday.
5. *We will begin the Nativity Novena from Friday, the 30th of August - 2024 conducted by Sunday School teachers and children with Novena prayers during the 7.00 PM Mass. We welcome sponsors / donors in cash and kind which will be accepted in the Parish office during office hours. List of items that can be sponsored is put up on the Notice Board.*
6. *A One Day Bible Study is organized at St. Pius College Goregaon (East) on 15th of August - 2024 from 9.00 AM to 4.00 PM. For further details refer our Notice Board.*
7. *QUEST – Discerning for Priesthood and Religious Life : A programme for youth and working adults of 18 years and above (both boys and girls) is organized on 15th of August - 2024 from 9.00 AM to 1.00 PM at St Pius X College, Goregaon (East). For further details refer our Notice Board.*
8. *The Rosarian Youth Group is organizing “Monsoon Madness – Sliding into the Fun Soon” on Sunday, 18th of August - 2024 from 12.00 Noon onwards. The registration fee is Rs. 100/- which can be done after every Mass on Sundays at the help-desk with the youth volunteers. Parishioners are encouraged to register and participate in this event.*
9. *There is a requirement of a Peon & Lift Attendant in St. Thomas Academy and a Male House-keeper for our Parish House. Those interested kindly contact Dchool Office with your resume during the office hours.*
10. *“When Two Hearts Meet – Reconnect”* - The Family Cell of St. Blaise Church, along with the Parish Team is organizing a meet for Roman Catholic individuals whose marriages have been annulled as well as widows, widowers and singles on 18th of August - 2024 from 10.30 AM to 3.00 PM.
