1. Today is the Third Sunday of Advent.
2. Parish Priest is on leave from 14 to 20 December 2023. Fr. Anto will be the Acting- Parish-Priest.
3. As a promotion for Admission to Aquinas International School there is a mutual understanding between the Promoter of Property & the School to meet clients in each-others places.
This Saturday & Sunday we have invited ‘Dreamscape Team’ to promote their property. Parishioners are encouraged to speak with them but be diligent before participating in their projects as the School & Church have not verified any project.
4. Christmas confessions are on from 5.00 PM to 8.30 PM today and tomorrow in the school quadrangle.
5. Christmas Masses are as under:
- 24th December, 2023 (Christmas Eve): Kindly note the revised timings as per latest Govt. order & not as previously announced.
- Carol singing in Tamil at 7.45 pm followed by Mass in Tamil at 8.00 pm.
- Carol singing in English 10.15 pm followed by Mass in English at 10.30 pm.
- On 25th December, 2023, (Christmas Day) morning, Masses will be as usual on Sundays and Marathi Mass at 12.15 pm. Kindly note there will be no evening Mass.
6. As part of Christmas celebration –
- Last day to submit the Community Star is 23 December 2023.
- To spread the Christmas message, Float will be going around the Parish in the evenings of 22nd and 23rd December 2023. The Float Routes are :
On 22nd December 2023 : Start from Church to Mitha Nagar – Shastri-Nagar - Tilak & Pragati-Nagar - Industrial Colony - Siddharth-Nagar - Ram Mandir – BEST Nagar – Motilal Nagar 1 - Bhagat-Singh Nagar – Laxmi Nagar and back to Church.
- On 23 December 2023 : Start from Church to Vasant Galaxy – Bangur Nagar – Subkuch Area – Unnat Nagar – Teen Dongri – Sane Guruji Nagar – Azad Maidan – Hanuman Nagar – Motilal-Nagar 2 – Adhivashi Colony and back to Church.
The Float-route will be circulated around.

7. Today is the last day for Sunday school. There will be Christmas Tree celebration this evening from 4.30 to 6.00 p.m. Sunday School will resume on 14th January, 2024.
8. The children of the Parish will receive First Holy Communion on 07th January 2024 at 10.30 am Mass.
First Holy Communion Preparatory - classes begin from 29th December 2023 to 05th January 2024 in the evening at 07.30 PM after the Evening Mass in the Church. Kindly note there will be no Charismatic Prayer Meetings during this period in Church.
9. Our Parish will be celebrating Pongal on Sunday, 14 January 2024 from 7 p.m. onwards with cultural events & traditional dinner. Registration for per person is Rs.100/. Registration can be done after every mass. The last date for the same is Sunday, 7 January 2024.
10. Our Parish will be going to picnic to Ocean Blue Resort, Virar on Saturday, 03 February 2024. Registrations for this can be done at the help-desk after every mass on Saturdays & Sundays or in the Parish Office during Office hours. The amount for the same is Rs.200/ per person.
11. Parish-Calendars for the year 2024 are available to the Parish Council members in the Parish office during the office hours for distribution in the communities.
12. Bible Diaries are available in the Parish Office during the office hours. The rates of the diaries are: English Rs 210, Tamil: Rs 150 and Marathi: Rs 200. Please tender exact change. Kindly note we have only limited copies.
